King of kings,
I come before You today lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know every detail of their lives, their struggles, and their hurts. Nothing is hidden from You, and I praise You because You are a God of miracles, restoration, and deep transformation.
For my son-in-law, CS:
Lord, I pray for a profound spiritual awakening in CS’s heart. Break the chains of deception, pride, and the fear of failure that lead him to hide the truth. Your Word says in Proverbs 10:9, "Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out." Remove the spirit of dishonesty and replace it with a spirit of truth, responsibility, and integrity. Awaken a desire within him to be a faithful provider for his family. Grant him favor, diligence, and endurance to hold down a job, and give him a heart that seeks to serve his family genuinely, not just when others are watching. Turn his heart fully to You, Jesus, so he can become the spiritual leader and provider he is called to be.
For my daughter, AS:
Father, I lift up AS to You for deep emotional and spiritual healing. I pray for deliverance from the spirit of rage, anger, and anxiety that has weighed her down for so long. Your Word promises in James 1:19-20, "My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires." Replace her anger with Your supernatural peace. Deliver her also from the heavy burden of unrealistic expectations from CS. Help her to anchor her security, identity, and worth in You alone, Lord, rather than in her husband's shortcomings. Give her wisdom, patience, and a calm spirit as they navigate their marriage.
For my grandbaby, M:
Lord, I place little M into Your protective hands. Protect her mind, her heart, and her environment from the chaos, instability, and anger around her. Let Your peace fill their home so she can grow up in safety and love. I pray that both AS and CS will continue to grow in patience and love as parents, raising M to know and love You.
Lord, it is hard to watch them struggle, and I confess my own frustrations and wishes for their lives. But I surrender my preferences to You, trusting that You love them even more than I do. Do a work in this marriage that only You can get the credit for.
